The Bill Of Rights for Whom?

Aim: Should the government have the right to change the lifestyle or culture of a person?

      The government should not have the right to change the lifestyle or the culture of a person. I think this because this is just violating people personal space. If this would ever happen the United States would change and it will never be the same. It will be basically living like a robot because you have to do what everyone else does in their culture, maybe dress the same way and probably talk the same way. This is also violating the freedom of religion. This is the one of the reasons why people moved to the United States because they want to have a freedom of religion. This is like destroying the history of our country. Then everyone would move to Canada I think. The bottom line is that the government shouldn't have the right to change people lifestyles and culture.

Important people of the Holocaust

There are many important people of the Holocaust but I chose Adolf Hitler to talk about and give a brief  back round information on him because I think he is the most important person of the Genocide during the Holocaust. Adolf Hitler is the person and the reason why the Jews was being put in the concentration camps and killed, burned, torture, and starved to death. Adolf Hitler told and convinced people that the Jews was the reason why all problems happened in Germany. People believed him and he came very powerful and had troops take all the Jews and put them into the "ghetto" until they were put into the concentration camp. Here is his picture above.

Comparing and Contrast the treatment of the jews during the Holocuast and the Native Americans during the westward Expansion

The native Americans had to move out their home because the u.s government forced them to many tribes went to canada. The Jews had to be forced out their homes into the "ghetto" until the Germans took them out an put them into the consertration camp. The native americans was slauhter, and killed just to move somewhere else. The jews was killed, rapeed, an beaten.When the Europeans came over to colonize the "New World", they were trying to escape the oppression of their government. The irony is in doing so, they then started to oppress, massacre, slaughter, enslave and place the Native American people on reservations. They stated that doing so was God's will and what God wanted for their people. The worst part about it is, Native American accepted these Immigrants that fled their homelands as brothers, to return being treated like dogs but their new brothers from over the big water. the jews were tricked of being sent somewhere to do work. Hitler jus wanted to kill all the jews without them knowing that their race was getting genocide.

Night

The book night is based on the jews holacuast. The jews were in a consertration camp because of a man name hitler. Hitler belived that the jews were the reason everything bad was happening. Hitler said the jews was the bad people. So the book was an auto biography that turn into a story and it was a boy name eli describing the things that happen in the consertration camp. The author used the word Night to represent it as fear, hunger, suffering, and silence. It was represented as these words because this is what the jews felt at Night. Also when the word Night appeared in the book it had to do something with those words.

The Meaning of Swastika

 an equilateral cross with its arms bent at right angles, in either right-facing form in clockwise motion or its mirrored left-facing form in counterclockwise motion
the symbol of Swastika had a very powerful meaning for manny years. Its was used when the Germans killed millions of people. The symbol was a negative meaning to some people , but to some it was a positive one. The meaning was positive , good and lucky . But its meaning changed in the 1800's when the symbol was handed to the nazi's it turned into a symbol of violence and hate.

Near the End

At the beginning of his unit, many of you presented questions that you had about the Holocuast. As we near the end of the novel. I would like to tell you how an when the Holocuast ended. The Holocuast ended at the end of War World 2. It the Holocaust ended in 1944 and 1945, when the Allied armies began to liberate the concentration camps one by one from July 1944 on. The Allied forces defeated and occupied Nazi Germany and took control of the country. 
      Also the thing that happen to Hitler and his fate was that he killed himself.
   The reading on this book open my preseption how the hitler plan was. How jews were getting killed for no specific reason. How people around the world knew about it but didnt do anything.

Genocide Today

The Genocide of the jews was bad but, their are other places that people tried to kill a group of people like in Darfur. History always repeats its self and nobody does nothing about it. There are kids in Darfur that are getting killed for no reason that they deserve to. Even though people should not be put to death because they did something wrong. Kids in Darfur were being killed because they were a certain type of race in that country. Same as the Jews in Holocaust. There is also genocide in Rwanda, and about to 1 million people being killed and it was also similar to the genocide during the Holocaust. They were put to work and if people refused or stood up for what they thought they were killed without hesitation.

No Escape

 The reason the innocent prisioners from the Holocuast did not want to escape because they thought if they escaped they would of killed their family. They seperated the females and the males. They told them if you work we will not kill your wife or your husband even though they could be dead already. The females did not see the males so they think their family is alive so they do not want to esape and make them kill their family thats another gender. This is why the prisoneers didnt fight back or try to escape, because they had hope that they would see their family, even though they could be dead.

Essay

Now in class we are doing an essay about if you agree with George killing Lennie i do agree because if he lived he was going to suffer anyways curly or carlson was going to kill him and they are strangers and he would of been depressed like candy

THE BOOK IS OVER

the book is over i think it was a good book but we recently took a test about this book and i got 11 wrong out of 60 i couldve did better but i really think i did good on the written respond part
