Schooled
Have you ever read a book named Schooled? Well, just imagine a boy named Capricon Anderson (Cap),he is 13 years old with hair that never been cut, dresses with bright colors shirts that hurts your eyes, and does a slow motion movement called tai-chi. If your thinking he is a hippie, you guessed right.
Capricon affected many character lives from the school C average and in the novel Schooled. Cap affected Zach because Zach was the popular kid. Now, Zach is at the bottom of the food chain with the kids that Zach calls “dweebs.” Cap has affect the school C average. He has made it a better place, he brought some people together that didn’t even had friends like a character Hugh. He also made people realize that violence isn’t the answer. Cap affected the children in middle school C average, in the book when everyone thought Cap was dead they were saying good things how Cap help their lives.
Sophie is a character that Cap moved in with for the while when his grandmother, Rain, got injured and had to stay at a rehab center. Sophie was like Cap’s step sister. At first Sophie judged Cap by the way he looked a call him names and threw water on him. After some time they started to get along because Sophie realized Cap was a caring person, and cool in his own ways. Cap sent Sophie a card. Cap made the card seem like it was from Sophie’s dad, and wrote All You Need Is Love. Sophie thanked her dad over the cellphone and he didn’t have a clue what she was talking about. In the book it says, “ she missed a button and accidentally turned on the radio and it sang All You Need Is Love. At this moment she was taken her drivers test and realized that the card was from Cap and drove over 4 cones and stilled passed. Sophie was very sad because she didn’t even say thank you and Cap never ask for one. Also, Cap left to Garland Farm.
Mr.Kisigi ( Mr.K ) was the principal of C Average Middle School. He did not realize that Cap Was a hippie and did not now anything about society. He always just thought that Cap was acting like a “smarty pants.” Mr.K also didn’t notice that kids that are the school president was picked to made fun of and that was Capricon. Cap affected Mr.K because he was responsible when Cap spent all the checks from the school that was given to him to buy stuff for the dance and all the school events. Instead, Cap gave all the money to charity, he even wrote checks when there was no more money so the school has negative money. He really stressed Mr.K out exspecially when, Cap didn’t attend the school C Average anymore when he found out.
Zach Powers was the most popular kid in the school. He picked on nerds, but his target was Hugh until Cap came to the school. Cap affected Zach by putting him at the bottom of the food chain of that school without trying. Zach lost his friends and his popularity. Zach use to lock Cap in the janitor room, but instead of Cap freaking out Zach did because all Cap did was sit down and stay calm for hours. Zach friends started to realize how mean he was being and everyone in thew school seen how he was hurting Cap by setting him up in many ways. One time Zach tricked Cap into volunteering in the prep rally where the football team runs over the person who has the opposite team uniform on at halftime. Cap was seriously injured and his best friend stop hanging out with Zach. Now Zach was eating lunch with Hugh because he had no friends.
