Safety for our Internet
The internet is an extremely dangerous place for our children. I feel that the internet needs to be censored. The government should be able to censor the internet. Governmental censorship of the internet will prevent cyber bullying, child peverts, and children should not be exposed to lewd pornography.
The first reason why I think the government should be able to censor the internet is to prevent cyber bullies. Cyber bullying needs to be stoped because every year over a hundred people commit suicide. When people is bullied on the internet it affects them everywhere they go. Cyber bullies can go to jail because this is a crime and a huge problem in America.
The second reason why the internet should be censored by the government is to prevent child predators. On the internet their are many adults who trick our children to meet up with them. They can raped them and kill them and you will never know, but the government would know if the internet is censored. Most of the child predators have false information and they tell our children come to my house after school to play the latest game or something. We would be furious and dreadful if someone did that to out children.
The third reason that the internet should be censored by the government it to prevent our children from being exposed to lewd content. Our children should not be watching sexual videos because they can learn sexual things. The things our children learn will have a high chance of doing sexual things at an early age. Sexual pictures should be taken off the internet so our children does not have to interfer with it.
In conclusion, the government should be able to censor the internet to protect our children. The internet is full of bullies, pedefiles and inappropriate content. Censoring the internent is a way for the government to ensure that our children are not harmed. Children needs to be protected at all cost because the children today is the children of our future.
