George was justified in killing Lennie before Curley and Carlson get to him. If Curley and Carlson find Lennie they are going to make him suffer from pain. Curley is going to shoot Lennie in the gut and watch him bleed out. Carlson is going to hang Lennie up so Curley can use him as a punching bag. Curley and Carlson would have to beat Lennie with a bat or a piece of old wood. Well George should have not shot Lennie and let him go away because a friend has to let his friend go somewhere else even if they get in to problems like killing another human. Lennie killed Curley’s wife and Curley got real frustrated. Curley wanted to watch Lennie suffer from pain. Curley would have shot Lennie in the gut for what Lennie did to his hand. Lennie crushed Curley’s hand and killed his wife so Curley wants Lennie to suffer as much as he is suffering. Curley loved his wife even though he always spend time talking about how he wants to beat people up. Curley and Carlson also thought Lennie had Carlson’s gun and that gave them another reason to kill him. Carlson would hang Lennie so Curley can use him as a punching bag. Curley was a boxer and he would like to train his crushed hand on Lennie. Curley would want to see if his hand got any better from when Lennie Crushed it. Curley would put his hand back in vaseline so it can hurt Lennie more every time he punched him. Curley would make Lennie bleed every time he punched him and every punch would be for what he thinks Lennie did to him. Curley and Carlson would beat Lennie with a bat or old piece of wood so Lennie can cry from the pain. Lennie would cry for killing Curley’s wife because George told him to stay out of trouble and Lennie did not follow his rules. Carlson would beat him thinking Lennie took his gun, Curley would tell Carlson to shoot Lennie and Carlson would do it. Carlson follows all the rules Curley tells him to do. They would still beat Lennie with a stick after he is already dead or in a coma. Those are the reasons why Curley and Carlson would make Lennie suffer. While George and Lennie were on their travel George should have taught Lennie to do the right things. Lennie only had one person that would teach him what to do and that was his aunt Clara. George did not bother to teach Lennie to do thing like a grown man does. Those are the reason George was justified in killing Lennie.
